Five Element tones & music

QiTone Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026 · Next Lifetime Ventures LLC

QiTone is a music and sound app for Android and iPhone, made by Next Lifetime Ventures LLC. It has no account, no sign-in and no advertising. This page says plainly what the app keeps on your phone, the little that leaves it, and what never does.

What stays on your device

These are stored only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app. Your phone's own backup (Google or Apple) may include them if you have backup turned on; that backup is handled by Google or Apple under your account with them, not by us, and we cannot see it.

What the app sends

Anonymous play totals. The app sends plain counts: which piece of music was played, how many times, on which day, and which kind of session was started. This is how the musicians who make the music are paid and how we learn which music is used.

These counts carry no name, no email address, no account, no device or advertising identifier, no location and none of your birth details. We cannot tell which person or which phone a count came from. You can turn this off at any time in the app under You → Share play counts.

Music downloads. The app downloads its music from our storage at Google Firebase. As with any internet connection, the servers that deliver the files and receive the counts see your internet address while doing so. We do not use it to identify you.

Sharing

If you share a playlist or a sound journey, QiTone stores only its recipe: the list of pieces, or which journey it is, under a random code so the link can open it. No name, no message, and nothing about you or the person you send it to is stored. Opening a shared link adds nothing to your app unless you choose to. Shares are deleted after one year.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe, the purchase is made through your Google Play or App Store account. Google or Apple handles the payment. We never see your name, your card or your address; the app is only told whether a subscription is active.

What we do not do

Musicians and referral partners

Musicians and referral partners invited to work with QiTone sign in to a separate web page with an email link, Google or Apple. We keep their email address, the name they wish to be credited by, the music they send, their play and referral totals and records of what we have paid them, in order to credit and pay them. Pay is sent by Next Lifetime Ventures LLC through Stripe, which collects bank, identity and tax details directly; we do not receive bank or tax numbers. They can ask us to remove their account at the address below. More in our company privacy policy.

Deleting your information

Everything personal is on your device, and uninstalling the app removes it. Because the play totals are not linked to you, there is nothing of yours for us to look up or delete. Step-by-step instructions are on the delete your data page.

Children

We do not target children under the age of 13. QiTone collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Health note

QiTone is intended for relaxation, mindfulness, wellness, and educational use. It is not a medical device, is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical care.

Changes and contact

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions: dev@nextlifetimeventuresllc.com.
